Maintenance is being conducted on the VLS Portal this evening. VLS Portal is expected to be down through the evening. Other VLS Services are not affected.

Some on-campus network related issues have occurred but are being resolved.
The IT Department will be conducting IT System Infrastructure maintenance this weekend (9/15/2018 – 9/16/2018).
This work should not impact any IT Services.
We continue to make progress with the Email Migration project. The synchronization phase of the project has completed, and we are preparing to move into the next phase which is the finalization portion of the migration.
We will proceed with the finalization of the migration tomorrow (July 11, 2018) at noon.
The finalization part of the process will cause a brief email service outage which could last for 45+ minutes. After the finalization process completes, anyone accessing email through Outlook on a VLS issued computer should notice that it works as expected. There is potential for bounce-back emails which will be alleviated once everyone’s account has been finalized. Furthermore, there is potential for an email, from a sender that would normally appear in your Inbox, to get directed to the Junk Email folder. In this situation, simply right+click the email and designate it as Not Junk.
If you access your email via Outlook Web App (Webmail), you will notice a redirect after your account is finalized:
Proceed with clicking the link and sign in with your complete email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Then enter your password and click Sign In.
If you access your VLS Email account on a mobile device, there is a possibility that this device may stop downloading email. If find yourself in this situation, the account will have to be removed and then re-added to this device. We experienced slow delivery of email from outside senders today. We have identified the cause and are working to alleviate the issue. As we continue to work on the issue, email will begin to flow.
Today we noticed a slowdown in delivery of Student email. It affected some but not all Student accounts.
We have taken measures to alleviate this issue.
The issues we experienced with CampusWeb have been resolved.
We are aware of issues with external access to CampusWeb as of 8/18/017 at 11:50.
We are working on the issue.
